Snowball Baby Quilt
First of three baby quilts I promised to make. This one came from the Feb/Mar 2012 issue of McCall's Quick Quilts. I modified it a little bit so it is only as wide (slightly narrower) than the standard width of quilting cotton (it is 41" x 50.5" long, before quilting and binding).
Civil War Christmas Done
Finished up the Barbara Brackman Civil War BOW, now known as Civil War Christmas yesterday! Signed, bound, no new picture because didn't really change much from the last one. At some point I will hang it and take a good picture, and post it on webshots, but not today.

Lots of feathers quilted my Civil War Christmas
I finally found my feather practice piece from the February Free Motion Quilting challenge, led by Diane Gaudinski this month. Thanks SewCalGal for getting this together!
Once I finished the practice piece, I figured it was time to practice on something bigger. Here is a shot of the back. I still need to fill in some largish holes, but pretty much done.
Here is the front. You can't see the quilting too well, but it is there.
Valentine's Day
I grew up with Disney, and even more than that, my kids grew up with Disney. I have a few favorite characters, Winnie-the-Pooh is one, and Tinkerbell is another. Kind of different from each other, but both have a place in my heart. DH has a large spot in my heart, and knows me. This is what I got this morning

2012 Free Motion Quilting Challenge #2
When I was taking this picture, I couldn't find the first sample, and this isn't the best shot, because of the busy fabric, but these are the first feathers I did on the BB Civil War BOW, from the back. Will continue working on this, it is FUN!
