Civil War Chonicles progress
Months 1 through 10 are now done, and I thought I'd share what the corner will look like, sort of. Month 11 will be another set of 6 3/4" blocks, which will replace 2 of the month 10 blocks in each corner. Then the border.
Right now I am obsessed with finishing this quilt. Cutting and piecing Month 11, which has more fussy cutting. Sigh!
I made a template for the side triangles, but haven't cut any yet. Maybe Sunday I will reach that point.

Civil War chronicles
Still plugging away at the Civil War Chronicles BOM. Month 8 is a tumbling blocks variation.
Month 9 is Broken Windows. Still have three more to make of this one, still cutting out that blasted stripe. There are a lot of directional fabrics in this quilt, can't say they are fun to work with, in fact, very fiddley. Not terribly happy with the stripe in this block, will try and get them lined up better in the next ones, which means fussy cutting for the whole block.

Civil War Chronicles BOM 6
I did months 7 and 6 out of order, but now months 1 - 7 are done. This is Crown of Thorns, 4 of them.

Civil War Chronicles
Last year I started way too many things, including the Civil War Chronicles Block of the Month. I managed to mostly keep up through Month 5, then not so much.
Month 5 got the center done, and assembled. This will be on point in the finished quilt.
Now I am trying to pick up and finish some of the UFOs I started last year. Here is Month 7 - Kissing Lanes, one block will go in each corner. Next up, month 6.
These both seem rather washed out, oh well, maybe next time the richness of the fabric will show up.

Civil War Chronicles

This seems to be the year for Civil War Quilts. Maybe the sesquicentennial of the Civil War has something to do with it. Anyway, I am taking part in the Civil War Chronicles BOM, BOM 1 - Troubled Times is done. Just picked up BOM 2 and 3 from my LQS, they each have four blocks to do, which are the same, but still, now have eight blocks to make before the next packet is picked up! Need to pre-wash the fabric, then I can start cutting.
As per usual, I am drafting this in EQ and using Marti Michell templates when I can, which for this block was for everything except the center square. That I printed from EQ. This is a 16" block.
